Galgorm Resort and Galgorm Castle Golf Club

Galgorm Resort is located in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. This is a world-class resort with full service spa, outdoor Thermal Village, and three restaurants on site. Nearby is Galgorm Castle Golf Club which hosts the Northern Irish Open every year. Just open at the golf course is the facility’s 4th restaurant, the Castle Bar & Grill.

Our group had the pleasure of experiencing just about every inch of the place. Upon my arrival after landing in Belfast, I immediately donned my supplied robe and slippers and headed down to explore the indoor and outdoor Thermal Village. I then met up with the other tour operators in our group in Galgorm’s Gin Library where we given a thorough education on Irish gins. We had dinner at Fratelli Ristorante, drinks at Gillie’s Bar & Grill, then breakfast in the River Room at Galgorm. We then headed to Galgorm Castle for a great morning of golf. After our round, we finished our tour of Galgorm’s restaurants with lunch at the Castle Bar & Grill at the course. Just an awesome resort!
