Baraboo Country Club

Baraboo Country Club is a hidden gem overlooking the bluffs of Devil’s Lake State Park. Don’t let the fact that the starting holes of each nine are par threes…this is no pitch and putt. The back tees play over 6,500 yards and there are many demanding holes and tee shots. I very much enjoy the front nine with its three par 3s, three par 4s, and three par 5s…never a dull moment. The back nine is equally enjoyable with a string of demanding par 4s to narrow your focus. Baraboo Country Club is wonderfully maintained, the staff is courteous and welcoming, and there is a great bar and restaurant waiting for you after your round. What else do you need to enjoy a great day of golf?

Baraboo Country Club is steeped in history and tradition. There is a local rule on Hole #6 which allows you to take free relief from a number of burial mounds found on the course. The Draper Creek Indian Burial Mounds are estimated to be over 1000 years old.   Baraboo Country Club is also an Audobon certified golf course, and is home to many different kinds of wildlife. Wisconsin Golf Trips recommends adding Baraboo Country Club to your next custom golf itinerary when staying in the Wisconsin Dells area or just passing through.
